Terms of Service
Last updated 30 May 2026
These terms govern your use of urAfro. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.
What urAfro is
urAfro is a tool that lets a merchant list products, share a storefront link, and track orders, payments and deliveries. urAfro is not a party to the sale: any purchase is an agreement between the merchant and the shopper. We do not buy, sell, ship, or guarantee any goods.
Accounts
To run a shop you need an account. You agree to give accurate information, keep your sign-in secure, and you are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create one.
Merchant responsibilities
- List only goods you may lawfully sell, with accurate prices, descriptions and stock.
- Fulfil the orders you accept and handle deliveries and refunds on your own terms.
- Handle your customers' personal information lawfully and honour your own privacy commitments to them.
- Comply with all laws that apply to your business, including tax.
Shoppers
Placing an order on a storefront is a request to buy from that merchant. The merchant is responsible for confirming, supplying, and delivering the goods, and for handling payment. Any questions about an order, payment, or delivery should go to the merchant you ordered from. urAfro does not guarantee any transaction.
Acceptable use
Do not use urAfrofor anything unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful, and do not attempt to disrupt, abuse, or gain unauthorised access to the service or to other users' data.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you add — product names, descriptions and photos. You grant urAfro permission to host and display that content as needed to run your shop, including in storefront link previews. urAfroowns the platform itself and its software.
Fees
Using urAfro is currently free. Payments for goods are arranged directly between the merchant and the shopper — urAfro does not process them. If we introduce paid features in future, we will tell you in advance.
Availability
urAfrois provided "as is". We work to keep it available and may add, change, or remove features, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, urAfro is not liable for disputes between merchants and shoppers, for goods or payments, or for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.
Termination
You can stop using urAfro at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or if needed to protect the service or its users.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
